By now you have all heard about Perez Hilton getting hit by the manager of the Black Eyed Peas. Do you know his name? I don’t. Nor do I have the desire to.
Perez Hilton write about everyone and anyone he wishes. It’s his site. He can say what he wants. Can he be hurtful? Yes. Can he be biased? Yes! He is allowed to be biased! It’s not like he is CNN or MSNBC. My point is that he is and should be allowed to say whatever he wants without having to fear physical retaliation.
Will.I.Am may have had just cause for being offended but did it give him the right to try and intimidate Perez Hilton? I know a lot of people would actually answer, “yes” to this question. And that’s the problem. We often get upset about what people say about us. If you feel somebody offended you and it bothers you to a point that you need to take it up with that person, the proper way to go about it would be to calmly discuss how you feel. And in most cases you will just have to agree to disagree. Swallow your pride and walk away.
In this case Perez Hilton wrongfully retaliated by calling Will.I.Am a “faggot”. I hate this word. I have been called this word and it did crush my heart to hear Perez, who I am a huge fan of, say it. However, I can understand where he was coming from as well. He felt he needed to defend himself and was trying to do whatever he could to make Will.I.Am feel the way he did.
For your information, I like the Black Eyed Peas AND Perez Hilton.
I think people who keep saying “he had it coming” are
A) stupid because violence is never the answer
B) Will.I.Am isn’t even the one who hit him.
It was some stupid loser who doesn’t know how to manage his testosterone
Perez apologized numerous times to the gay community and anyone he hurt or offended. I accept his apology, but quite frankly, for me, none was needed.

So, I read this review about Transformers, by some lady who works for Time Magazine and I honestly just think she is stupid.
If you haven’t seen the movie you may not understand any of this and if you have I would read her review and then mine.
She whines and infers that it’s unrealistic that Sam would not have washed his sweatshirt since the last movie, which would have taken place two years prior. To be honest I have jackets in my closet I have touched in more than two years nor have washed.
She then continues to say that the new Autobot characters, Mudfalp and Skids, “speak in an appallingly offensive ghetto patois”. They were meant for comedic relief. Did she even watch the movie or just judge it? And I apologize on the behalf of us “ghetto” folk who enjoyed these characters. I didn’t know high class citizens such as her self even went to movies out in public.
Complaints are made that the movie only caters to male veiwers and that some of the Decepticons even look like dinosaurs, “which borders on pandering to 5-year-olds.” Who said girls don’t enjoy this kind of stuff too. Sexist much?
She then calls Megan Fox’s performance “stoic” and suggest the Michael Bay treats her like “last month’s penthouse pet”. She even suggest that Bay simply used her for looks and could care less about her acting ability. Sounds jealous to me.
I liked the new movie and in fact I thought the story line was great and easy to follow. It was a lot of fun and actually pretty funny. I think I laughed more in this move than I did when I went to go see Year One, but that’s another review. The action sequences were to die for. And the drama of the movie which I always think is the heart of a film, was portrayed well. whether it was Judy and Ron’s (Sam’s parents) fear of losing their child, or Mikaela wanting nothing more than for Sam to say “I love you”.
I liked the movie and I would recommend it!
I had wrote Perez Hilton an e-mail a couple of weeks ago. I thought I should share it with you guys.

My name is Lorenzo Gutierrez and I am gay as well. I wanted to thank you for all that you are doing and have done. Some may see you as just a silly blogger with jokes, but I honestly think you are the voice of this generation. You are truly a wonderful human being. I want you to know that I’m proud to be your fan and proud to say that I enjoy your blog and everything that you do. But most importantly I want to thank you for what you are doing for the LGBT community. You are fighting for my rights. Of course, I’m in Texas and we probably have the longest way to go when it comes to gay rights. But like you say every little step forward is good.

Well, I have really good things to say about Lady GaGa’s performance. She rocked the house I had a blast. However, I waited two hours after the doors were opened. There were alot of rude people that pushed me about 5 feet farther from the stage where I was orginally at. Then two hours later the Veronicas performed, which I didn’t really care for. It was super hot and I, at all times, was being danced on.
BUT when LADY GAGA came out. It was amazing. I didn’t care about the heat or sweat, or the people dancing on me. I joined them! I cheered. Tried my best to take good pictures over the tall people. I chanted “poker face” with the crowd for an encore! As much as it sucked in the beginning. GaGa made it better.
I cant wait to see her in bigger venues.

So, I have been excited allllllllllllll night long!!!!
If I get close enough to the stage I hope she sees me DANCING and aknowledges me. I doubt it will happen, but hey, I can dream.
It’s going to be sooooo much fun. I’m leaving for Austin at 10AM. I’ll have lunch with my BFF Sarah. Then, I will wait until the doors open and I can reserve my spot in fron of the stage. I just want to shake her hand and tell her she is my hero and inspiration.

With all the new gay marriage laws being passed, there was on thing stuck on my mind.
How is the Westboro Baptist Church(WBC) taking this?
If you don’t know what the WBC is. Then, look it up. They preach that “God hates America and ‘Fags’” They are known to preach at fallen soldiers funerals with signs that read “Thank God for 9/11″ and tell people passing by that American soldiers are in hell for fighting for a “Fag enabling country”
If you have heard of it. Yeah, I know old news. If you haven’t, I’m sorry for introducing you to it.
Anyway, with all the gay marriage laws being passed, I was curious about how a WBC member would react to a person struggling with their sexuality coming to them for guidance. So, I sent an e-mail pretending to be exactly that. I do not know if the will respond. What garbage would they feed a “confused and lost young man”? Below is the e-mail I sent.

Dear whoever,
I don’t know who I’m sending this to. I don’t know who will read this. However, I need some guidance. I’m a young American and I’m very lost. I’m scared I’m gay. Can I rid myslef of this affliction? I read that you are not here to make me happy. I’m aware of that. Can the Westboro Baptist Church save me? I don’t know where to turn.
